Overview
Royal Auto ("we," "us," "our") warrants that your steering wheel cover will be free from defects in materials, stitching, and workmanship under normal personal-vehicle use for one (1) year from the date your order is delivered. This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and requires valid proof of purchase (your order number).
What this warranty covers
We cover genuine manufacturing defects, such as:
- Seams or stitching that come apart under normal use
- Material that splits, peels, or tears without an external cause
- Failure of the inner ring or grip construction under normal use
A "manufacturing defect" means a fault in how the product was made — not damage caused by use, the environment, or installation.
What this warranty does not cover
- Normal wear from regular hand contact, gripping, and daily driving
- Damage or staining from sweat, hand oils, lotions, hand sanitizer, or other substances
- Fading, discoloration, hardening, or cracking caused by sunlight and dashboard heat
- A cover that feels loose or does not fit because a wheel size outside the stated range was selected
- Stretching, forcing, or tearing the cover during installation
- Damage from misuse, accidents, sharp objects, or improper cleaning and chemicals
- Modified or altered products
- Use in commercial, rideshare, fleet, or other high-frequency settings
- Cosmetic issues that do not affect the function of the product
- Any accident, injury, loss of vehicle control, or property damage resulting from a cover that is the wrong size, not fully installed, or not properly secured
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, or claims without proof of purchase
Conditions you must meet
To keep this warranty valid, you must: be the original purchaser and provide your order number; select a cover that matches your steering wheel diameter; install it fully according to the included guide and confirm it is firmly in place before driving; maintain it with normal, appropriate care; and report the issue within the 1-year period.
How to file a claim
- Email with your order number.
- Include clear photos or a short video of the defect, plus a brief description.
- Our team will review your claim, usually within a few business days, and may request more information or that the item be returned for inspection.
Our remedy
If your claim is approved, we will, at our sole discretion, repair the item or replace the cover. Any replacement is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new one. Repair or replacement is your sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty does not cover cash refunds, installation or labor costs, or any loss of use. Our total liability under this warranty will not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
Legal
This is a Limited Warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty, and we are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
